Every plan runs real multi-model councils with the full 25+ model lineup. Annual billing saves ~17% and starts with a 3-day trial — $1 on Plus, $2 on Pro, $5 on Ultra. Upgrade for bigger budgets, more projects, or the Ultra-tier MCP server and personal RAG library.
Council AI has three plans. Plus ($19.99/mo or $199.99/yr) is the entry ticket: every premium model, persistent AI memory, and councils of up to 7 models. Pro ($39.99/mo or $399.99/yr) is the daily-driver plan: up to 10 models per chat, 2× Plus's budget, 5 project workspaces, priority support. Annual billing saves about 17% — roughly two months free — and every annual plan starts with a 3-day trial charged up front: $1 for Plus, $2 for Pro, $5 for Ultra, with the annual price billing automatically on day 3 unless you cancel first; monthly plans start instantly with no trial. Ultra ($99.99/mo or $999.99/yr) unlocks the two features nothing else on the market combines — a personal RAG library where every model can read your own PDFs and Word docs, and a hosted MCP server that exposes the entire council inside Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, and Claude Code. All plans use monthly budget caps (not per-message metering), so you never get a surprise bill. Cancel anytime.
The entry ticket. Every premium model, AI memory, and real council debates.
For daily heavy use. Bigger budget, more projects, priority support.
Personal RAG library + MCP server. Chat with your PDFs across every model, and invoke the council from inside Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, and Claude Code.
Annual plans save roughly 17% vs. monthly — about two months free — and every annual plan starts with a 3-day trial: you're charged $1 (Plus), $2 (Pro), or $5 (Ultra) today, get three days of access to your plan, and the full annual price bills automatically on day 3 unless you cancel first. Cancel within the trial and you're never charged the annual price. Monthly plans have no trial — they start instantly at the full monthly price. Toggle the billing cadence on the live pricing page.
Annual charges — including the charge when a 3-day trial converts — can be refunded within 14 days of the charge (we may deduct a small amount for days already used). Email billing@council-ai.app. The trial fee itself ($1/$2/$5) is non-refundable — it buys the 3 trial days, and cancelling within the trial means the annual price is never charged. Monthly plans aren't refunded for voluntary cancellations: cancel from Settings anytime and keep access to the end of the paid month.
Yes — a paid one, on annual plans. Start any annual plan with a 3-day trial: $1 for Plus, $2 for Pro, $5 for Ultra, charged today. You get three days of real access to your plan, then the annual price bills automatically on day 3 unless you cancel first. Cancel within the trial and you're never charged the annual price. There is no free tier or free trial — Council AI is subscription-only. Monthly plans skip the trial and start instantly.
All paid plans are billed monthly, or annually with ~17% off. Annual plans start with a 3-day trial ($1/$2/$5 depending on tier) and the annual price bills on day 3 unless you cancel. Cancel from Settings at any time; access continues through the end of the current period. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated adjustments on monthly plans.
Ultra adds two things Pro doesn't have: a personal RAG library (upload your PDFs, Word docs, notes — every model in the council reads from them) and a hosted MCP server that exposes the council as native tools inside Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, and Claude Code. Ultra also gets ~3× Pro's monthly budget and the priority queue under load.
No. Each plan has a fixed monthly budget cap. When you hit it, Council switches to budget-friendly models for the rest of the month instead of charging more. You can upgrade mid-cycle if you need more headroom.
No. Council is fully managed — we hold the relationships with every provider and you talk to one product. BYOK is not supported on user accounts because the value of Council is the cross-lab synthesis layer, which works better when we manage rate limits and routing.
Yes. From Settings → Subscription, hit Cancel. You keep access through the end of the current period and we don't ask for a reason.
