CUSTOM BUILDS
Most teams do not start from zero. They start with seats on somebody's chat product, a pile of prompts that half work, and a process nobody trusts enough to put in front of a client. We build the system that replaces it, on top of Council or on your own stack.
Council AI builds custom AI systems for companies whose problem the off-the-shelf tools do not solve. There are four kinds of work. A private council tuned to your domain, running the model lineup and review process your work actually needs. Bespoke internal tools, such as document review pipelines, research assistants and approval workflows. Integrations that wire models into systems you already run, including CRMs, support desks, data warehouses and internal APIs. And advisory engagements where your engineers build while we design the architecture and review the approach. There is no price list, because scope varies more than a list could capture: you describe the problem and your budget range, and you get back a scope and a fixed quote. The proof of what can be built is this product. Council AI runs 24 frontier models from 9 providers in parallel on the same prompt, with per-plan cost caps, streaming moderator synthesis, a personal document library and a hosted MCP server that puts the whole council inside Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf. It serves thousands of users, and it was designed, built and operated by the same person who would build yours.
The most common starting point is not a blank page. It is a team already paying for chat seats, with prompts pasted between documents, outputs nobody audits, and no answer to the question of what happens when a model gets it wrong. That existing setup is useful input rather than something to throw away: it tells us what people actually do, which is usually different from what the process says they do. A migration engagement normally starts by reproducing the current workflow honestly, showing where it breaks, and replacing only the parts worth replacing.
Two reasons, and neither is price.
There is a working system to look at. Most agency pitches are decks. Council AI is a production multi-model platform you can sign up for right now: nine providers behind one interface, parallel execution with a moderator that reconciles disagreement, per-plan cost caps that hold real budgets, retrieval over user documents, and an MCP server that exposes the whole thing as tools inside Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf. Whatever we would build for you, something structurally similar is already running.
You talk to the person building it. No account manager, no bench, no handoff to a junior team after the pitch. That is also why small, tightly scoped engagements are viable here and usually are not at an agency: there is no overhead to cover.
There is no price list. Scope varies too much for one to mean anything, and a published number would either scare off work worth doing or set an expectation the work cannot meet. Tell us the problem and a budget range, and you will get an honest answer about what fits inside it. Small engagements are genuinely welcome. Email teams@council-ai.app.

Yes. Much of the work is nothing to do with the Council product: internal tools, document pipelines, research assistants and approval workflows built on whatever stack fits. Council AI is the proof that the orchestration is understood, not a requirement of the engagement.
Yes. That is the most common request: wiring models into a CRM, a support desk, a data warehouse or an internal API, so the output lands where the work already happens instead of in a separate chat window.
It is usually the reason people get in touch. Most teams do not start from zero, they start with seats, a pile of prompts that half work, and a process nobody trusts. Migrating that into something reliable is a normal engagement, and the existing setup is useful input rather than something to throw away.
The person who designed, built and operates Council AI. There are no account managers and no subcontracting, which is the main reason small engagements are viable at all.
Yes. If your engineers are building it, we can do architecture design and review instead: model and provider selection, orchestration shape, evaluation strategy, cost control. It takes far less calendar time, so it costs less.
Not as a self-serve tier. Council AI is single-seat across Plus, Pro and Ultra, with no seat management or SSO today. If you need several people billed together, a larger shared monthly budget, or invoicing instead of card checkout, email teams@council-ai.app and we will quote it.
